Butler Please

21 Nov

Happy Hump Day! I am SO ready to stuff my face tomorrow!! Today I have a maniΒ that I tried from watching Chalkboard Nails video tutorial πŸ™‚ It seemed pretty easy…and it was! For my colors I chose Essie Butler Please- from their new winter collection, and O.P.I. Fly for my ring finger. I really like the way it turned out, but I do need a little practice πŸ™‚

What do you think?! Hope all y’all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Charming Dots

4 Oct

Morning everyone! One more day until the weekend! YAY! Today I have one of my favorite polishes (and indie brand) Cult Nails Charming! If you do not have this polish, HURRY! You can still get it right now, but it is now a Cult Nails Limited Edition. I also added Essie Splash of Grenadine and Nothing Else Metals with a dotting tool πŸ™‚ I have seen this look all over IG (@lacquerland), so I’m not too sure who started it.

Super cute and girly πŸ™‚ What do you think?!

KKCenterHK Glitter Review

24 Sep

Hello everyone! Ah! School has taken over my life! And whenever I do have time away from studying and homework, I just want to sit in front of the TV and veg πŸ˜‰ But today I have a special post brought to you by KKCenterHK! KKCenterHK is an online beauty store which specializes in false eyelashes, but also have a ton of super cute and fun nail art supplies. They were gracious enough to let me shop around, and I chose some of the glitter to make my own little concoctions πŸ™‚

First up I just mixed one of the glitters with a clear top coat

I paired this glitter with Essie Splash of Grenadine.

Next I used my second glitter to make a jelly/glitter sandwich. I mixed the dark pink glitter with Essie Marshmellow, and when I first mixed it itΒ looked like ice cream with sprinkles or something…it was so cute. Literally an hour later I came back to put it on my nails, and the glitter had stained Marshmellow PINK! I was very surprised, but I didn’t mind it πŸ™‚ Now it’s like strawberry ice cream πŸ˜‰

What do y’all think?! Pretty cute eh?! This was my first time doing something like this, so gimme a break πŸ˜‰

A big THANK YOU to KKCenterHKΒ for allowing this to happen! I look forward to continuing our relationship. πŸ™‚ And don’t forget to check out their amazing products!!

You Don’t Know Jacques, or Penny Talk

24 Aug

Mornin’ everyone! Today is going to be quick, but I have a cute mani I wanted to show yall. I used OPI You Don’t Know Jacques as my base, and Essie Penny Talk to stamp with (I’ll have to get back to ya’ll on the stamp number).

What do you think?! I actually didn’t mean to stamp the flowers that close together, but I ended up liking it anyways πŸ™‚

P.S. I’m experimenting with taking pics of my mani with the help of Bregje’s post at Oooh, Shinies!Β
