Happy Halloween!

31 Oct

Happy Halloween polish lovers! This week for me is going to be crazyyyy! I have classes all week, a ton of my family are coming into town, and my only sibling is getting married on Friday! So excited! Now, onto polish. I have felt very uninspired in the nail art department, so today I have two polishes that are Halloween colors 🙂

First up is OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby from their Germany Collection. If you are from Texas, then you will agree with me that this is UT burnt orange. I usually run away from anything burnt orange color because my older sister is a UT grad, so everything for a long time in our family was burnt orange (my sisters bridesmaids and myself only agreed to the wedding if we were guaranteed to not wear burnt orange dresses). 😉 HOWEVER, I freakin love this polish. It’s perfect for fall, and only needed 2 coats.

Loves.

Next I have a polish from the very generous @Lacquerloon on Instagram. She makes some awesome frakens and holos, and was kind enough to send me a TON! I want to also say, SORRY for the horrible picture quality on these. I usually take my photos on my phone (I know, so profess 😉 ), but the second I picked it up to take some pics…it died. So I grabbed my iPad which usually takes great pictures, but not for close up of nails apparently. So I promise next time I will have some better pictures of Lacquerloons polishes, because they are seriously amazing.

This little guy doesn’t have a name, but it is a black jelly base with orange/copper-colored glitter (and I also think it has teeny tiny blue/green glitter). I did two coats of Lacquerloon’s polish over a black base.

What do you think?!

Hope y’all have a safe and fun Halloween!

Fantasy Fire Part Deux

23 Oct

Happy Tuesday! It feels like it should be Thursday because of how much school work I’ve done in the past two days. Any who! Today I have two more polishes I received from my fav, Ivana. I have posted Max Factor Fantasy Fire before over Revlon Royal, this time I have FF over Essence Passion for Fashion-a almost Justin Bieber purple. I neeeed more Essence polishes in my life, the two I have tried have gone on like butter.

What do you think?! Every time I put on FF, I remember how much I freakin love this polish.

Weekend Party Nails

12 Oct

Happy Friday everyone! I have been suuuuper busy these past couple weeks, that’s why I wanted to show y’all my mani’s from the past week. My first one was for my school’s rival football game- The Battle of Piney Woods. This is the biggest game of the year, and is held at Reliant Stadium in Houston (it’s the only game I go to every year lol) so I had to show my school spirit on my nails 🙂 The game was good (we won!), but I did get a beer spilt on me TWICE by the SAME drunk baffoon…lame.

TaDa! Our mascot are Bearkats, so I put little paws but I realized afterwards that there should be 4 little toes; not 3…oh well. *Polishes used: China Glaze Riveting, China Glaze Frost Bite, and Konad White

Next up are my nails for my sister’s wedding shower this weekend! The shower is thrown by me and my mom, so we (or rather I) chose a pink theme 🙂 What better says a pink party than Deborah Lippmann’s Candy Shop?!

3 coats

This isn’t my favorite DL polish, but I got it for free when I bought the Run the World Girls set 🙂 🙂

What do you think?!

I hope y’all all have a great weekend!

Charming Dots

4 Oct

Morning everyone! One more day until the weekend! YAY! Today I have one of my favorite polishes (and indie brand) Cult Nails Charming! If you do not have this polish, HURRY! You can still get it right now, but it is now a Cult Nails Limited Edition. I also added Essie Splash of Grenadine and Nothing Else Metals with a dotting tool 🙂 I have seen this look all over IG (@lacquerland), so I’m not too sure who started it.

Super cute and girly 🙂 What do you think?!
